Our Story
EasyMoose Running Company started with something simple: a family tradition.
The name comes from our two kids, Myah "Moose" and Eli "Easy," who grew up watching running become part of our everyday life. Long before there was a company, there were early mornings, finish lines, and our annual Fourth of July runs together on Amelia Island, Florida. Those moments grew into a shared love for movement, challenge, and the joy of showing up together.
As our family grew, so did a realization.
Many small towns have incredible people who want to become healthier, train for their first race, or simply feel better, but they often don't have access to running stores, coaches, organized training groups, or the resources that are common in larger cities. We wanted to help change that.
I'm Coach K, an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritionist with a lifelong passion for fitness, endurance sports, and helping people discover what they're capable of. I ran my first marathon when our kids were still little as a way to hold onto my identity as an athlete while stepping into parenthood. That experience taught me that running isn't just about crossing finish lines. It's about building confidence, resilience, and a healthier life.
My husband, Coach T, is a software engineer who brings the technical side of EasyMoose to life through race technology, web development, timing systems, and the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that allows us to create professional race experiences. He began running after we started dating, and it quickly became something that strengthened not only our health but our family.
Together, we created EasyMoose Running Company to make quality running resources more accessible.
We organize professionally managed races, host free community Track Nights, and provide free fitness assessments, consultations, and personalized training plans because we believe everyone deserves access to knowledgeable coaching, regardless of where they live or what their budget is.
Whether your goal is to walk your first mile, complete your first 5K, qualify for Boston, or simply become a healthier version of yourself, we're here to help you take that next step.
Our mission extends far beyond race day. Every event we organize helps us invest back into our communities by creating opportunities for people to move more, gain confidence, and discover a lifelong love of fitness.
What began as family miles has become a mission to bring health, community, and opportunity to Honea Path, Abbeville, and small towns throughout the Carolinas.
Because everyone has a starting line. We're here to help you find yours.
